Welcome to Shapland Swim Schoo Taigum. We supply semi private swimming lessons with only three pupils per class, and a maximum of two classes in the pool at any one time, ensuring your child will receive more individual attention.

We are all committed to making you and your child's learn to swim experience the best one possible.

With only three pupils per class and a maximum of two classes in the pool at any one time your child will receive more individual attention. The pool is heated to 32 degrees Celsius all year round and all our instructors are Industry qualified e.g. (AUSTSWIM SwimEd) and Blue Card holders. The facility is an Australian Swim Schools Association registered facility.

Shapland App

Please down load our App this allows you easy access to My SSS as well as allowing us to send you notifications, please make sure that you go into settings and allow notifications relevant to the swim school you attend. It has other functions too one of them is a swim cam that allows you to send photos and videos of your children swimming. Just search for Shapland in your App store its a free app

Magnapool - The Miracle

Magnesium mineral water in our pools. This innovation in water science is providing Shapland Swim Schools with a healthier water for your children to learn to swim and bathe in. Magna pool water is extremely gentle on the body and environment, the water is natural it can be used to irrigate the trees and grass around the swim school. Your children will swim in pure natural and therapeutic mineral water. Magna Pool water contains Magnesium and Potassium minerals that are gentle on eyes, therapeutic for skin and are naturally sanitising the pool water 24/7. Cost & Enrolment Info

The Shapland Swim School at Taigum, like all Shapland Swim Schools, runs a seamless learn to swim program so you never have to rebook your spot.

Cost
A deposit of $92 per family is charged. This comes off your last month's fees when you give a months notice,

Package One
One lesson a week $23 weekdays or $24 per lesson Saturdays paid by the calendar Months.

Package Two
Two lessons a week $42.50 weekdays for the same child , price may differ if one of these lessons is on Saturdays.

Payment
You can pay by internet transfer or by using your credit card and Paying through My SSS . Once you have enrolled in the swim school program then you will receive detailed instruction on how the payment and invoicing system works. You will find it a simple but effective system.

Make ups
We have a great make up system so if you miss a lesson and cancel before 8am the day of the lesson you are issued make up lesson, we give you a log in so you can cancel and look for a make up when you are ready. The make up lesson can also be renewed on line so that you will be able to use them when you can, these can be controlled by you using MY SSS

My SSS
We have a customer Interface My SSS that allows you to take control of your lessons, you can cancel a lesson if you are going to be away, look for a make up lesson and book it when you are ready to have one. Pay your account and within the next few days you will be able to look for a class for a sibling and look for a new time for your child if you want to swap days.

Once we have the information we will contact you to discuss a suitable time for your child to stat their learn to swim experience, a life long life saving skill.

General Info

Free make up system
You can take your child out of their class provided it is done any time before 8am on the day of their lesson, this can be done through the My SSS system online or phoning the swim school. If you have taken your child out using the My SSS system you do not need to contact the swim school. This will then entitles you to a make-up lesson. History has shown us that the most effective way to organize your child's make up swimming lesson is to use the My SSS system or you can call the swim school on the morning you require the make-up. Over the years we have found that once you break your child's swimming lesson routine (come at a different day and time for a make up lesson) it is very easy to forget the make up swimming lessons time and day. It is swim school policy not to give out make up lessons more that one day in advance, the swim school relies on you to phone on the day you can attend a make up lesson for your child, or use the My SSS to book one yourself.

Heated pool
Water temperature of 32 degrees Celsius (all year round) is crucial for your child's comfort. Normally children have a low percentage body fat and if the water is below 32 degrees Celsius then they start to feel the cold. Any parents who are in the water with their child will understand how important it is to feel comfortable in that environment.

MagnaPool Technology.
MagnaPool technology powers the filtration and sanitising system used at the Warner. Unlike traditional pools where you end up soaking in a very dilute caustic soda solution (NaOh) in our manapool your child and our staff soak in a very different solution which is by far more gentle on the skin that traditional systems. So if your child suffers from any skin conditions you might like to consider enrolling in our program.
