Welcome to Shapland Swim School Everton Park.

Our philosophy as a family know the importance of children learning to swim and the life long skill it gives them.
Emma and Sally Dommett have owned this Franchise since 2007 and it has really turned into a family affair with Isaac and Carlin Dommett taking on teaching roles in the Swim School.
Sally also owns the Shapland Swim School at Kallangur with John Dommett that they built in 1992 as the first Shapland Franchise, it has always run as a family business, all the children grew up around the pool watching and helping with lessons from a young age. Emma at the age of 19 years was the manager at Shapland Swim School Warner when it first opened in 2006 and in 2008 left to help run the Everton Park Swim school. Emma had twins early 2014 and in January 2016 came back to teaching 2 mornings a week as she is passionate about teaching children to swim.
We aim to have very stable teachers at the swim school and know the importance of this for your child we try to avoid changing their teachers as much as possible.

With only three pupils per class and a maximum of two classes in the pool at any one time your child will receive more individual attention. The pool is heated to 32 degrees Celsius all year round and all our instructors are Industry qualified with CPR, First aid and Blue Card certificates. The facility is a Swim Australia registered facility.

Shapland App

Please down load our App this allows you easy access to My SSS as well as allowing us to send you notifications, please make sure that you go into settings and allow notifications relevant to the swim school you attend. It has other functions too one of them is a swim cam that allows you to send photos and videos of your children swimming. Just search for Shapland in your App store it is a free app

Magnapool - The Miracle

Magnesium mineral water in our pools. This innovation in water science is providing Shapland Swim Schools with a healthier water for your children to learn to swim and bathe in. Magna pool water is extremely gentle on the body and environment, the water is natural it can be used to irrigate the trees and grass around the swim school. Your children will swim in pure natural and therapeutic mineral water. The Shapland Swim School at Everton Park, like all Shapland Swim Schools, runs a seamless learn to swim program so you never have to rebook your spot.



Weekdays $23 a lesson charged monthly in advance by the calendar month

Saturdays $24 a lesson charged monthly in advance by the calendar month

We do have sibling discounts

Weekdays: 3rd Child $19.50 4th child $12.50

Saturdays: 3rd Child $20.50 4th child $13.50




A deposit of $92 is charged for each family and this deposit comes off your last months fees when you give us a months notice you are finishing up in the program.
We have discounts for the 3rd and fourth children in the same family, when they are all enrolled in the program together.
We do not do Trial lessons but you are more than welcome to come and watch a lesson, please give us a call first.

Payment
You can pay by cheque, internet transfer or by using your credit card. Once you have enrolled in the swim school program then you will receive detailed instruction on how the payment and invoicing system works. You will find it a simple but effective system.

My SSS
We have a customer Interface My SSS that allows you to take control of your lessons, you can cancel a lesson if you are going to be away, look for a make up lesson and book it when you are ready to have one also pay your account and look for a class for a sibling or look for a new time for your child if you want to swap days.

WHY NOT CONTACT US NOW
Fill out the Booking Enquiries form or 'Look for a lesson' ( you can look and see what we have) if you can not find anything that suits you you can send the details through to the swim school and they will contact you. Once we have the information we will contact you to discuss a suitable time for your child to start their learn to swim experience, a life long life saving skill.

General Info

Free make up system should you miss a lesson.
You can take your child out of their class provided it is done any time before 8am on the day of their lesson, this can be done through the My SSS system online. If you have taken your child out using the My SSS system you do not need to contact the swim school. This will then entitle you to a make-up lesson. History has shown us that the most effective way to organize your child's make up swimming lesson is to use the My SSS system. It is the swim schools policy not to give out make up lessons more that one day in advance, the swim school relies on you to use the My SSS to book a make-up.

Heated pool
Water temperature of 32 degrees Celsius (all year round) is crucial for your child's comfort. Normally children have a low percentage body fat and if the water is below 32 degrees Celsius then they start to feel the cold. Any parents who are in the water with their child will understand how important it is to feel comfortable in that environment.

MagnaPool Technology.
MagnaPool technology powers the filtration and sanitizing system used at Everton Park. Unlike traditional pools where you end up soaking in a very dilute caustic soda solution (NaOh) in our manapool your child and our staff soak in a very different solution which is by far more gentle on the skin that traditional systems. So if your child suffers from any skin conditions you might like to consider enrolling in our program.

Public Holidays
We will close for all public holidays unless notified.
We will inform you of other dates we may be closed and adjust your fees accordingly. Please check My SSS as all your upcoming class dates are listed.
We do not close for school holidays in March/April only public holidays of Easter, June/July holidays only the first week we are closed, September holidays we are open and we close for 1.5 weeks over Christmas/New Year.
